The Japanese based automaker Mitsubishi has recently released more details about the new Mirage, ahead of its local launch on the 31st of August.
After entering production in several countries across Asia, the Mitsubishi Mirage is entering our news once again, this time with the company announcing more details about it. According to the car manufacturer, the Mitsubishi Mirage in higher variants will get features like automatic climate control and infotainment system, which will make it quite attractive for its future customers in its domestic market.
The Mitsubishi Mirage is taking its power from a 1.0 liter three-cylinder engine, which is developing a total output of 68 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 63 lb-ft (86 Nm), mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) which is enabling the model to return 3.6l/100km (27.2 km/l / 63.9 mpg US / 76.8 mpg UK) when the model is getting the optional start/stop system.
Mitsubishi is saying that its base price for the entry-level version Mirage in Japan will be set at 998,000 yen and the model will finally hit the local dealerships on August 31. More details about the Japanese Mitsubishi Mirage will be announced close to the model’s launch.
