The facelifted version of the Mitsubishi Outlander has been caught on camera recently, by our spy photographers, while it was being tested out on public roads.
Despite being in production for just a couple of years, the current generation of the Mitsubishi Outlander is getting ready to receive an upgrade, in the shape of a facelift, which will be applied soon to the model. There has been no official announcement on the topic just yet but our spy photographers have managed to spot a test mule of the vehicle while it was being tested out and, despite wearing some heavy camouflage on its body, it’s still pretty recognizable.
The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander will be getting some minor tweaks which will include the modifications made to the front and the rear bumpers, the minor changes applied to the lamp clusters at both ends and probably some adjustments made to the cabin. As far as the engine lineup goes, the four-cylinder units, with 150 HP in petrol or diesel shape, will remain unchanged, while for the United States auto market, we will find the 2.4 liter inline four-cylinder 2.4L with 168 HP and the 227 HP 3-liter V6. The facelifted version of the Mitsubishi Outlander is said to debut at the next year’s Geneva Motor Show.
