The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S has been officially revealed ahead of its public debut scheduled for next week’s 2014 Paris Motor Show.
Mitsubishi is continuing its Outlander PHEV “rage” as a concept version of the model will be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The model in question, which has been described as a “special design package”, is coming with a new front fascia, with a different front bumper, a new set of headlights, a chromed radiator grille and several other tweaks to help it stand out from its regular brothers.
The cabin of the one-off concept car is gaining the red and black theme with silver accents, leather seats, a center console finished in black and black woodgrain trim, amongst others. Power to the vehicle is being provided by a plug-in hybrid EV system, where the front and rear axles are powered by permanent magnet synchronous motors, connected to the 12 kWh lithium ion battery. This is charged by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder DOHC MIVEC engine. More details on the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S will be announced during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. Meanwhile, you can check out the two images released by the company, which are found below.
