MMC has announced the official starting price of the new Outlander Plug-in Hybrid Electric vehicle in the United Kingdom, where the model in question can be yours from 28,249 GBP, including the 5,000 GBP subsidy.
Mitsubishi is offering, starting today, the new Outlander PHEV for sale in the United Kingdom. This is a plug-in hybrid and if we should judge its starting price, it stands the same as the one for an Outlander Diesel GX3 automatic.
“Unlike non-hybrid vehicles, it is hard to predict what MPG the vehicle will return in real life. A lot depends on journey length and speed – for instance, for the average daily commute of 25 miles most people will achieve much higher than 148mpg. For longer journeys at higher speeds it may achieve less than 148mpg”, says Mitsubishi in its official press release.
The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is coming in two other versions, the GX4h, from 32,899 GBP and the GX4hs at 34,999 GBP. Power is being provided by both versions by a 2.0L petrol engine and a pair of 80 HP electric motors, one on each axle. The total output produced stands at 220 HP. The company says that it has an all-electric range of 52 km (32.5 miles) at speeds up to 12 km/h (75 mph). The model is burning an average of 1.9L / 100km (148 mpg UK / 123.2 mpg US).
