Mitsubishi to present 7 models at the Tokyo Motor Show image

The Japanese based automaker Mitsubishi has just announced that it will be showing a total of 7 models at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show at the end of this year, including two world premieres, in the form of the Mirage and the Concept PX-MiEVII, raising the number to a total of 15 vehicles.

According to Mitsubishi, the Mirage is powered by a 1.0 liter, three-cylinder MIVEC engine, fitted with the Auto Stop & Go technology and mated to a CVT transmission, but the automaker didn’t provide some interesting features like the HP or torque figures, saying words like “fuel efficiency” and “low CO2 emissions”, targeting 30 km/L.

The Mitsubishi Concept PX-MiEVII is the company’s vision on a mid-size plug-in hybrid PHEV which is offering a long cruising range, with a drivetrain from the MMC’s EV technology and the same words used under a different form, like “environmental performance” and “quietness inherent to an EV in an SUV package”, where the two electric motors are generating 60 kW each and the 2.0 liter MIVEC four-cylinder engine is developing 70 kW, offering a target combined cruising range of 800 km with an average fuel efficiency of 60 km/L.

Mitsubishi will show 15 vehicles at the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show and according to its official website, the audience which will be attending the Japanese event will see 2 Mirages, 1 Concept PX-MiEV II, 2 i-MiEVs, 2 MINICAM-MiEVs, 1 RVR, 1 Galant Fortis, 2 Delica D:5s and 1 Pajero, 1 Outlander, 1 Delica D:2 and 1 Delica D:3.
