The new generation of the Mazda6 sedan has been officially presented to the public in a world premiere during the 2012 Moscow Motor Show.
The 2013 Mazda6 has been heavily inspired by the Takeri concept and the model has a Kodo design with a signature wing grille, a sloping roof line, bulging fenders, a distinctive greenhouse and LED infused headlights. The new generation of the Mazda6 will hit the market in Russia with a choice of two petrol engines, a SkyActiv-G 2.0 with 148 HP (150 PS / 110 kW) and 210 Nm of torque (155 lb-ft), and a SkyActiv-G 2.5 liter, with 189 HP (192 PS / 141 kW) and 256 Nm of torque (189 lb-ft).
The cabin of the new Mazda6 generation has been significantly improved and it now has higher quality materials and a nicer design, and it now includes a 3.5-inch display in the instrument cluster, soft-touch plastics and more. The 2013 Mazda6 is also more spacious and thanks to the 2,830 mm wheelbase, the rear seat passengers now have extra legroom. The all-new Mazda6 sedan will go on sale across the Old Continent later on this year and more details about it will be announced before its launch.
