The champion of the MotoGP, 20-year old Marc Marquez, has been recently awarded with a brand new BMW M6 Coupe, by the German based automaker.
BMW has given a brand new M6 Coupe to the 20-year old Marc Marquez, the champion of the MotoGP. The model in question has been finished in Frozen black and it has received matte black 20-inch light alloy wheels. The same bespoke styling is being carried over in the cabin too, where we can find the Merino Sakhir Orange leather upholstery, the carbon fiber trim, the head-up display, the M multifunction seats or the GPS navigation system, amongst others.
“Marc Marquez was a sensation in his first season of MotoGP – and his show-stopping performances also carried over to the BMW M Award. At just 20 years old, the young Spaniard came through brilliantly against more established opposition to win the 2013 BMW M Award as the top qualifier of the year”, as BMW is saying in the official press release.
The BMW M6 Coupe in question, which has been handed over to Marc Marquez, is taking its power from the 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine. The unit is good for 560 HP (412 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. Power is being sent to the rear wheels through the 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes just 4.2 seconds.
