The German automotive event is featuring the introduction of the brand new Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG 4MATIC featuring numerous modifications courtesy of Lorinser.
The tuner has extensively worked on the C450 AMG in a bid to deliver a companion to the company’s extreme C63 AMG. Thus we have an upgraded 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 that has now jumped from the regular 367 PS (267 kW) and 520 Nm (384 lb-ft) to a hotter 435 PS (320 kW) and 620 Nm (458 lb-ft) of torque. For the extra grunt the tuner will only ask for €1, 541 – which is mere spare change when comparing it to the initial price of the car – though it does trim some 0.3 seconds from the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint to reach the speed in 4.6 seconds now. Lorinser in turn left the electronic speed limiter safeguard in place so the Autobahn will be done at no more than 155 mph (250 km/h).
Called the “C50” package, Lorinser also offers 19-inch wheels with 225/40 R19 front and 255/35 R19 rear Continental SportContact6 tires – but if you feel like living on bigger wheels you can always opt for the 20-inch set that comes with a hefty price tag – 10,424 euros and 245/30 R20 front and 265/30 R20 tires from Continental SportContact6’ series. Burning rubber will be eased by the custom suspension lowering kit that enables the sedan to lower itself by 30 mm. IF you feel like adding all the details, the bespoke body kit can be had for 7,985 euros and comes nicely fitted with new front and rear bumpers, side mirror trims, rear deck lid spoiler, as well as a sportier exhaust rear muffler.
