MTM decides to push the Audi RS3 to 435 PS and 300 km/h image

Tuning specialist MTM, well known for its modifications of Audi models, has decided the smallest high-performance Ingolstadt-based model still needs some beefing up in order to win any fight.

Audi RS3 Sportback by MTM is now a hot hatch that breaks the supercar barrier thanks to the all new power increase program – we also saw the RS3 is very popular among tuners, as revealed by mods delivered by ABT or DTE Systems. MTM’s work has also reached the 5-cylinder 2.5-liter turbo engine and the tuner’s power boost kit manages to be the “strongest” as its new figures read a jump from 367 PS (270 kW) and 465 Nm (342 lb-ft) to 435 PS (320 kW) and 605 Nm (447 lb-ft) of torque. Since the power section is done, the RS3 Sportback will now sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.9 seconds, which is almost half a second faster than the standard contraption. The maximum speed has also reached new heights – soaring from 174 mph (280 km/h) to more than 186 mph (300 km/h). MTM also says the 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) sprint is covered in a mere 14.1 seconds.

As power without control is nothing, the tuner has packed even more tidbits: 19-inch Nardo wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (the set goes for 2,900 euros); a stainless steel exhaust system for €4,250, modified brakes at €3,490, and a performance suspension offered for €2,390. Aesthetics are covered by the optional front spoiler, rear diffuser and carbon fiber made side mirror covers. The interior amenities include a leather-wrapped steering wheel with carbon trim for €1,850 and optional carbon fiber seats to get rid of some extra heft. All the bells and whistles on board and the MTM Audi RS3 will set you back a cool 75,044 euros.
