The finalists of the North American Car and Truck of the Year have been recently announced and, at a first glimpse, General Motors has been dominating the competition.
A team of automotive journalists has announced the finalists of the North American Car and Truck of the Year but the final “results”, the winners, will be announced next month, on the 13th of January, during the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit.
“Now there will be a second round of voting on the three car and three truck/utility finalists. Those ballots also go to Deloitte officials, who will keep the winners secret until a news conference on Monday, January 13 the at the North American International Auto Show”, as the official press release is saying.
The three finalists of the North American Car of the Year are the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, the Cadillac CTS and the Mazda3, while the finalists of the North American Truck of the Year include the Chevrolet Silverado, the Jeep Cherokee and the Acura MDX. The winners of the 2014 North American Car and Truck of the Year will be announced by a jury of 48 journalists, during the 2014 NAIAS, next month, in Detroit.
