NanoFlowcell has released some new details on the Quantino Concept, which will be making its public debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, on the 3rd of March.
After officially pulling the wraps off the Quant F, just a week ago, NanoFlowcell is getting ready to introduce the Quantino Concept, as the first details and images with the new one-off vehicle have hit the web. The model in question is basically a compact electric vehicle which has a 2 + 2 interior layout, 3.91 meters in length and it is riding on 22-inch alloy wheels, as the carmaker is explaining.
“With the QUANTiNO we present the smaller brother of the QUANT E and the QUANT F in Geneva. An innovative electric vehicle with mass appeal. Sporty, dynamic, and above all with a low-voltage drive system”, said Nunzio La Vecchia, the chief technical officer at NanoFlowcell AG.
The brand new NanoFlowcell Quantino Concept has a low voltage drive system underneath its body, which is made out of four electric motors, a nanoFlowcell and two ionic liquid storage tanks. Each electric motor is generating 33 HP 925 kW) and this is allowing the model to reach a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). The total range of the electric vehicle stands at 1,000 km (621 miles). A production version of the Quantino Concept is planned for the near future but don’t expect to see it in a dealership near you anytime soon. More details on the one-off vehicle will be announced at the Swiss automotive event.
