Porsche has recently announced its plans to introduce a special edition of the Boxster in the Netherlands, named the Boxster S Red 7 Edition.
According to the German based automaker, Porsche Boxster S Red 7 Edition is getting a Guards Red exterior finish and matte platinum accents. The model has also received a sports exhaust system, a lowered sports suspension and a fresh set of 20-inch alloy wheels. The Porsche Boxster S Red 7 Edition has received the same two-tone cabin, and the black leather seats are being contrasted by the red accents on the steering wheel, center console and dashboard. The model also has a Bose audio system, Porsche Communication Management, Sport Chrono package and illuminated door plates.
The new Porsche Boxster S Red 7 Edition is powered by the 3.4 liter flat six-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 315 HP (232 kW) and it has a peak torque of 360 Nm (265 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a seven-speed PDK transmission, which is allowing the roadster to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds. The Porsche Boxster S Red 7 Edition will get a 7-unit production and each car will be priced at 119,935 EUR, VAT included.
