New BMW M5 gets tuned by Hartge image

The aftermarket specialists at Hartge have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, an upgraded version of the new M5 generation.

According to the tuning company, the BMW M5 in question is coming with some interesting styling tweaks, including the front lip spoiler, the carbon fiber mirror housings or the large 21-inch alloy wheels. The looks of the model are also determined by the upgraded suspension with lowering springs, which can lower the ride height of the model by 25 mm in the front and by 20 mm at the rear. The BMW M5 in question is also getting a stainless steel exhaust system.

The cabin of the powerful German vehicle hasn’t been left aside either by Hartge and the tuner has added velour floor mats, aluminum pedals or the tuning company’s badging. The most important upgrade is definitely under the hood where the 4.4 liter twin turbo V8 engine can now produce a total output of 642 HP (472 kW) and 810 Nm of torque (597 lb-ft), 80 HP (60 kW) and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft) more than the standard version. This is translated into a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph). Additional details on the BMW M5 signed by Hartge, including its price list, are limited for the moment.
