BMW has officially announced the pricing list of the new X1 compact crossover in the United Kingdom.
The 2016 BMW X1 is getting ready to be launched in the UK where the cheapest version of the model will become available from 26,780 GBP. For the money, customers will be getting the entry-level X1 sDrive18d, which is being offered with a 2.0 liter diesel burner, producing 148 HP, in two-wheel drive. The cheapest all-wheel drive variant will be the xDrive18d, which will be setting you back for 29,830 GBP.
In a couple of months, BMW will also be adding the xDrive25d to the lineup as well, with its 228 HP, which can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.6 seconds, from a standstill, and it costs 36,060 GBP. The only petrol choice at the moment is the xDrive20i, which has been priced from 31,225 GBP and it is bringing 189 HP. The rest of the lineup, besides the xDrive25d and the xDrive20i, is getting a 6-speed manual transmission, while the two mentioned above are getting the 8-speed Steptronic automatic in standard. Four different trim levels are available for the new compact crossover and these include the xLine, the Sport Line and the M Sport. BMW says that the latter is bringing the standard 18-inch wheels, the different front and rear bumpers and spoilers, the LED headlights, the sport front seats, the Anthracite headliner and much more.
