Chevrolet has recently pulled the wraps off this year’s Camaro Hot Wheels Edition, in the convertible version. The model will be shown on May 26, during the 500 Festival at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
According to the North American based automaker, the Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition Convertible is coming with a bright metallic paint scheme, with red lines on the wheels, with special graphics, matte black touches for the hood and taillight surrounds, Hot Wheels flame badges on the fenders and the trunk lid and some other tweaks, which should make the muscle car, in this edition, even more interesting to its future buyers.
Besides the changes mentioned above, the new Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition Convertible also has a front splitter, an upper grille, new side skirts, a rear spoiler and a fresh set of black 21-inch wheels, borrowed from the Camaro ZL1. The interior design is getting black leather trim, red and black stitching, Hot Wheels logo embroidered, Hot Wheels flame on each door, black instrument panel and door inserts and more. The Hot Wheels upgrade for the Camaro Coupe is priced at 6,995 USD, so pricing for the Convertible is expected to be similar. The model is the Official Vehicle of the Indy 500, but not an actual pace car. That job will probably be done by the new Corvette Stingray.
