A couple of images with the new generation of the Chevrolet Cruze are showing us a more practical version of the popular vehicle.
It may have been officially unveiled just a few weeks back but the new 2016 Chevrolet Cruze is being highlighted once again, this time with the help of two images, which are nothing more than simple renderings. The photos posted below and signed by Theophilus Chin are showing us how the model in question may look like, in a more practical variant, and we have to admit that it does look interesting indeed.
Notice an updated rear end which seems inspired by the open of the new Opel Astra generation but keep in mind that these are renderings and if the carmaker will decide to give this model a go, chances are it will look quite different. The new generation of the Cruze will be offered in more than 40 countries globally and this sits 25 mm lower than its predecessor, with an increased length by 68 mm and a best-in-segment wheelbase of 2,700 mm. The model has also dropped 113 kg off its total weight and it has received a 27 percent stiffer body. As far as the engine lineup goes, we know that this is currently getting the 1.4 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit under its hood, rated at 153 HP (113 kW) and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque.
