The all-new Citroen DS Concept car has been recently spotted in Paris under a red cover, but even so, the model still managed to attract all the attention towards it.
After being officially teased by the French based automaker Citroen just a day before writing this article, the all-new DS Concept car is once again placed into the spotlights, but this time the car manufacturer has nothing to do with it and the model has been caught under a red cover on a street in Paris recently. As you can see from the image above, provided by the guys at autoblog.nl, the Citroen DS Concept looks to be a very long shooting brake, with a sloping rear roof line and a long front door, with what appears to be a wheelbase with the same size as the Metropolis Concept from 2010.
As a small reminder, the Citroen Metropolis Concept car, which might actually make its way to the production line, was 5.2 meters long and it was being powered by a hybrid powertrain, made out of a 2.0 liter V6 engine and an electric motor, which were mated to an automatic double clutch transmission with six gears, developing a total output of 460 horsepower. If the Citroen DS Concept was rumored to make its world debut at the Paris Motor Show or Frankfurt Motor Show in autumn, 2012, the Beijing Motor Show, which will officially open its gates next month, seems more plausible now.
