A new set of renderings with the brand new Corvette C7 has recently hit the web and they might just offer a first look into the final production version of the sports car.
The new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is entering our news once again, this time with the help of a fresh set of images which might just offer a first look into the model, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The images have been posted by Joyride on its Facebook account.
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette will be powered by the LT1 V8 6.2 liter engine, with CVVT (continuously variable valve timing) and direct injection, which should produce a total output of 450 HP (336 kW) and 450 lb-ft of torque (609 Nm). The new sports car generation should be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just over 3 seconds and the model should return 26+ mpg on the highway (US). Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will be announced during the automotive event in Detroit, on the 14th of January.
