Chevy has recently announced the official starting price for the new Corvette Stingray generation in the United Kingdom too, where the sports car will set you back for 61,495 GBP.
After announcing its official starting price across the Old Continent, just a day before writing this article, the carmaker has also announced the official starting price of the new Corvette in the United Kingdom too, where the model now costs 61,495 GBP. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is coming, just like on the European market, with the Z51 performance package as standard, in the United Kingdom. This is adding features like the electronic limited slip differential, bigger brakes, bigger wheels, specific performance gear ratio and more.
Changes don’t stop here because the new Corvette Stingray is also getting performance shocks, spring and stabilizer bars and a new aero kit, amongst others. The options list includes features like the navigation system, for 1,450 GBP, the tintcoat paint, at 1,000 GBP, the metallic paint at 600 GBP or the black aluminum wheels, priced at 550 GBP. Power is still being provided by a 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine, which is good for 460 BHP (343 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 630 Nm of torque (465 lb-ft), available at 4,600 rpm. The unit is mated to a seven-speed manual transmission with active rev matching. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint is done in less than 4 seconds.
