New Dacia Logan is 2012 Car of the Year in Romania image

The new generation of the Dacia Logan has been recently voted as the 2012 Car of the Year in Romania.

After it was officially presented to the public a few months ago during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, and with the model already available for sale in several markets across the Old Continent, the new generation of the Dacia Logan is ending up in our news once again. According to the Romanian based automaker, the 2013 Dacia Logan has been voted the 2012 Car of the Year on its local auto market. The model has been voted by a jury made out of automotive journalists and the podium has also seen the Ford B-Max, on the second place.

As a quick reminder, the 2013 Dacia Logan is available on its local auto market from 6,990 euros, VAT included, for the base entry-level version, which is coming with a 1.2 liter 16-valve engine, generating a total output of 75 HP. The TCE 90, the same engine from the Twingo and Clio, is also available on the new Logan, producing 90 HP and 135 Nm of torque. The 1.5 dCi diesel unit is available in two outputs, 70 HP and 90 HP. All units are mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The Logan is the ceahpest model in the segment.
