The British division of Fiat has recently announced the starting price for the new Panda generation in the UK, which has been set at GBP8.900.
According to the Italian based automaker, the new generation of the Panda is coming with a choice of three engines, in the United Kingdom, and the entry-level version is already available for its future customers from 8.900 GBP. Fiat says that for the money, future owners of the new Panda will get features like the Low Speed Collision Mitigation system which is able to activate the emergency braking at speeds lower than 30 km/h (18.6 mph).
“I’m delighted that we remain highly competitive against our key rivals in the small car sector. We are particularly good value when you take into consideration the levels of equipment offered in standard specification across the range”, said the Fiat Group Automobiles UK marketing director, Elena Bernardelli.
The new generation of the Fiat Panda will be launched with three engines, the 1.2 liter petrol with 69 horsepower, the 0.9 TwinAir with its 85 horsepower and the 1.3 ltier MultiJet 2 turbodiesel with 75 horsepower. The model is being offered in the same number of trim levels, the Pop, the Easy and the Lounge, and the top of the line version costs GBP12.250.
