Ford has recently announced the official price list for the 2013 Fiesta in Australia, where the cheapest model will become available from 15,825 AUD.
According to the car manufacturer, the base Ford Fiesta Ambiente version is coming will standard features like the front and rear power windows, the phone and audio controls for the leather wrapped steering wheel, the cruise control, the six-speaker audio system and the trip computer, amongst others. The EcoMode has been also fitted onto the model and this is measuring the gear shifting anticipation and speed and fuel efficient drivers get a leaf icon in the instrument cluster.
As for the engine lineup, the Ambiente entry-level and Trend mid-level get a 1.5 liter four-cylinder petrol unit, with 82 kW and 140 Nm of torque, burning an average of 5.8L of fuel every 100 km, in a combined cycle. The 1.0 liter three-cylinder turbocharged EcoBoost petrol is used in the Fiesta Grade, and it has 92 kW and 170 Nm of torque. The Fiesta ST will be powered by a 1.6L four-cylinder unit, producing 132 kW and 240 Nm or even 147 kW and 290 Nm on overboost.
