New Ford Focus was launched in Malaysia image

The new generation of the Ford Focus has been launched on Wednesday in Malaysia, at the Sunway Pyramid.

According to the North American based automaker, the all-new Ford Focus can be previewed in Malaysia between the 11th of July and the 15th of July and the model is available in the Asian country for a starting price of RM120,000, but to get the new Focus 2.0L Ti-VCT you will have to pay RM135,000.

“The all-new Ford Focus represents strengths and benefits of our global One Ford strategy in serving our customers across the region”, said the regional manager of Asia Pacific, Ford Export & Growth Operations, David Westerman.

The new Ford Focus Generation is available in Malaysia in four versions, the four-door 2.0 liter Ti-VCT Titanium, the five-door 2.0 liter Ti-VCT Sport, the four-door 2.0 liter Ti-VCT Titanium+ and the five-door 2.0 liter Ti-VCT Sport+, with the entry-level costing RM120,000 and the top of the line RM135,000. The all-new Ford Focus is coming with some advanced features such as the Active Park Assist, the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), the Active City Stop, the voice-activated SYNC connectivity package and much more.

Power to the new Ford Focus is being provided, in Malaysia, by a Duratec Ti-VCT GDi petrol engine, mated to a six-speed PowerShift automatic transmission, which is delivering 20 percent more power than the previous model with improved fuel economy.
