The German based automaker BMW will be offering the rich collection of M Performance parts to the new generation of the X5, which will become available for order next spring.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2014 BMW X5 will receive the M Performance parts on all of its versions and the updates will include features like the black decorative grid on the kidney grille, the carbon fiber look for the side mirror caps, the diffuser insert for the rear apron, the front splitter, the side sill foils with the M Performance inscription, the air duct inserts and some other tweaks.
BMW says that the interior design of the new X5 generation will also receive some modifications once the M Performance parts will be added, and these upgrades will include the sports steering wheel with red central marking, the M Performance floor mats, the high steel accelerator and brake pedals, the carbon covered leather gear and others. Changes will also include the M Performance brake system with the blue finished calipers or the 21-inch bi-color rims. A power upgrade will become available but only for the xDrive35i model, which will receive 20 HP (15 kW) and 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) more than the standard version. No pricing details have been announced yet.
