The North American based automaker Cadillac has recently released a first teaser image with the brand new Escalade, announcing its public debut for the 7th of October.
The Cadillac Escalade has been around for quite a few years and even if it has been bought by almost everyone, starting from drug dealers and ending up with politicians and celebrities, the model needs a new generation and the North American based automotive giant, General Motors, is planning such an action. According to the carmaker, the new generation of the Cadillac Escalade will be officially presented to the public, on the 7th of October, in New York City.
The new generation of the popular SUV will get a front fascia inspired by the CTS, along with plenty of chrome trim and some other tweaks, which should make it more appealing to its future customers. The 2015 Cadillac Escalade will ride on the same platform underpinning the Chevrolet Silverado and the GMC Sierra, which has been slightly modified. As for the engine lineup, this will include the new 6.2 liter EcoTec3 V8, which is good for 420 HP (313 kW) and 609 Nm of torque (450 lb-ft). More details on the model remain unknown for the moment.
