Our spy photographers have managed to catch the new Chevrolet Spark / Opel Mini on camera, for the first time, offering a glimpse of what the model will look like once it will hit the market next year.
Chevrolet is currently working on a new generation of the popular Spark, which is said to be officially introduced in 2015, but the fun part is that the model in question will also be made with Opel badges all over its body and it will sit below the Adam. Prices for the vehicle will stand at less than 10,000 euros and it will ride on the GM’s small car platform, just like the Spark. No details on the two future models are being known so far.
The current generation of the Chevrolet Spark, or the Matiz, Beat or Barina Spark, as it is also being known, has been in production since 2010 and it’s currently being assembled in Korea, India, Uzbekistan, Colombia and Vietnam. The model is being offered as a five-door hatchback and it has a choice of four petrol engines and a diesel burner, which can be mated to a five-speed manual, a four-speed automatic or a CVT.
