Citroen has recently announced its plans to introduce the new generation of the C1 in a world premiere next month, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
With Peugeot already pulling the wraps off the brand new 108 just a few days ago, time has come for Citroen to announce a new generation of the C1, which will make its public debut during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in early March. The announcement has been made by the company in a press release, but specifications on the model remain a mystery for the moment.
“At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Citroën unveils its core line-up with a debut of two models that are clear signs of the bold new positioning of the Citroën range: the New Citroën C4 Cactus and New Citroën C1”, said the carmaker.
Not much else is being known on the 2015 Citroen C1 but the model is expected to be heavily influenced by the recently unveiled Peugeot 108. This basically means that we can expect a stylish small car which should be more attractive than the one it’s currently replacing. The engine lineup is a mystery too but we expect a 1.0 liter three-cylinder and a 1.2 liter three-cylinder, amongst others, probably. More details on the new Citroen C1 will be announced during the Swiss automotive event.
