The new generation of the Dacia Sandero has recently leaked in an image which is revealing the front end of the car along with the side.
The Romanian based automaker Dacia is trying to keep the upcoming version of the Sandero into the shadows for the moment but that doesn’t mean that the company working on the model, under Renault’s guidance. The image posted above has been provided by worldscoop.forumpro.fr, and, even if it doesn’t look like a press photo, it’s still important because it may be a first look into the second generation of the Dacia Sandero.
The upcoming model is expected to get an engine lineup made out of three petrol engines, ranging from 75 HP to 115 HP, including a 1.2-liter unit, and two diesels with 75 HP and 90 HP. More details on the future generation of the Dacia Sandero are limited for the moment.
As a quick reminder, the Dacia Sandero has been in production since 2007 and the model is being assembled in Romania, Brazil, Colombia, Morocco, Russia and South Africa. The Dacia Sandero is based on the same platform as the Logan and the model is being offered in a five-door body style, with a choice of six engines and two transmissions. The Sandero is 4,020 mm long, 1,746 mm wide and 1,534 mm tall, with a curb weight of 1,025 kg.
