The new generation of the Ford Mustang is close to making its way into dealerships across the globe, but until that will happen, the carmaker still has to put it into production.
Originally unveiled just a couple of months ago, the 2015 Ford Mustang is ending up in our news once more, with the help of a report, which is saying that preorders for the muscle car will start in May, while production will kick-in this August. Deliveries of the 2015 Ford Mustang will begin towards the end of the rear and the model will become available in either coupe or convertible body styles.
The new Ford Mustang generation is coming, for the first time in history, with a four-cylinder 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine under its hood. The unit is rated at 305 HP (227 kW) and 406 Nm (300 lb-ft) of torque, and it’s offered as a mid-range version. The cheapest variant will be taking its power from a 3.7 liter V6, which is good for 300 HP (223 kW) and 365 Nm (270 lb-ft) of torque, while the top of the line version will be offered with a 5.0 liter V8, developing 420 HP (313 kW) and 528 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque.
