The new generation of the Ford Mustang has recently shown its face on a race track, where the popular muscle car was being tested.
The 2015 Ford Mustang is being placed into the spotlights once again, after being spied quite a few times over these past few weeks, this time with the help of yet another spy photo. The image posted above is actually showing the front fascia of the model for the first time and, even if this is a prototype, the lines can be clearly seen. The 2015 Ford Mustang will get a new front grille, more modern and slimmer headlights and muscular styling, getting closer to the Evos concept and further away from the classic shape.
The new generation of the Ford Mustang will get higher quality materials in the cabin, upgraded technology, a three-spoke steering wheel, metallic accents and more, which should help it become more competitive and a true rival for the Chevy Camaro or the Dodge Challenger. The 2015 Ford Mustang will be powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, which should be good for 450 HP (335 kW) and, for the first time in history, the muscle car will also get a smaller 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder unit, which will produce 360 HP (261 kW).
