Hyundai has officially unveiled the new generation of the i10, which will be officially presented to the public, for the first time, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, next month.
The new generation of the Hyundai i10 is making its official debut as the South Korean based automaker is revealing the model ahead of its public debut, scheduled for the 10th of September, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. According to the car manufacturer, the brand new Hyundai i10 is wearing the 2014 model year in its name and it now has a more evolved and mature design, increasing in size compared to the outgoing version.
The 2014 Hyundai i10 is now 80 mm longer, 65 mm wider and 50 mm lower than the current generation and its storage capacity has also increased by 10 percent, to 252 liters. The carmaker says that the brand new i10 has the best cargo space and legroom in its class, thanks to a wheelbase which is now 5 mm longer. The “goodies” list will include cruise control, climate control, front curtain airbags, stability control, heated steering wheel and much more. As for the engine lineup, this hasn’t been confirmed just yet, but rumors are saying that it will include three-cylinder and four-cylinder 1.0L and 1.25L units. More details on the model will be announced in Frankfurt, next month.
