The next generation of the Hyundai ix35 has been caught on camera, for the very first time, as it was being tested on public roads.
The South Korean based automaker Hyundai is currently testing out a new generation of the ix35 which should be hitting the market close to the end of next year, coming in as a 2016 model year. The vehicle in question, pictured below, is wearing a lot of camouflage on its body which is suggesting that this will not be another facelift and it will actually be a new generation, which is promising to be completely different, in the good way.
The 2016 Hyundai ix35 is expected to come with an evolutionary design and this will make it radically different than the already available version. This should assure it good sales especially since it has proven to be a vehicle which has made its way to new customers across the globe. Petrol engines will be ranging between 140 HP and 170 HP and turbo diesel units will be coming in at between 116 HP and 184 HP, but the upcoming Hyundai ix35 will also get the fuel-cell technology. More details on the next-gen crossover remain unknown for the moment but chances are it might be unveiled next year, during the Frankfurt Motor Show.
