The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has recently announced its plans to launch the new GL-Class generation in India tomorrow, May 16, 2013.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class will become available to its future Indian customers starting with the 16th of May, 2013, when the luxury SUV will be launched in the country. The model in question will be presented by former world number one tennis player, Boris Becker. At first, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class will be launched as the GL 350 CDI, coming with a 3.0 liter (2,987 cc) turbo common rail diesel engine, which is producing a total output of 255 BHP.
The unit will be mated only to the seven-speed G-Tronic automatic transmission. In Australia, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL 350 BlueTEC is coming with features such as the leather upholstery, the Bluetooth, internet connectivity, 360-degree camera, heated front seats, 17-8-cm TFT color display with voice control, satellite navigation system and 20-inch alloy wheels, amongst others. Additional details on the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class aimed towards the Indian sub-continent are limited for the moment and will be announced during its launch.
