MINI has released a large photo gallery with the new generation of its hatchback, which has been recently priced at 19,950 USD, over-seas.
The 2014 MINI Cooper has a 1.5 liter three-cylinder petrol engine under its hood, with the MINI TwinPower Turbo technology, which means direct injection, turbocharging, fully variable valve control and variable camshaft control. The unit is producing 136 HP (100 kW) and 220 Nm of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is made in 7.8 seconds with the manual transmission and top speed stands at 210 km/h.
The MINI One has a 1.3 liter petrol unit with 102 HP (75 kW) and 180 Nm of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 9.9 seconds and top speed stands at 195 km/h. The MINI One D has a 1.5 liter three-cylinder diesel engine, rated at 95 HP (75 kW) and 220 Nm of torque. The acceleration nis made in 11 seconds and top speed stands at 190 km/h.
The MINI Cooper D is packing a 1.5 liter three-cylinder engine, with 116 HP (85 kW) and 270 Nm of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration made in 9.2 seconds and a 205 km/h top speed. The MINI Cooper S is the most powerful version, coming with a 2.0 liter unit with 192 HP (141 kW) and 280 Nm of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 6.8 seconds and top speed stands at 235 km/h.
