Australians can now order the new generation of the Nissan Qashqai which has a starting price of 25,850 AUD.
The 2014 Nissan Qashqai is now available for order across Australia, where the cheapest version, the Qashqai ST, equipped with a manual transmission, can be yours from 25,850 AUD. For the money, you will be getting the 2.0 liter engine under the hood, but if the top of the line Qashqai TL is what you are looking for, than get ready to pay 37,990 AUD, for the 1.6 liter unit mated to the CVT.
Some of the goodies found on the new Qashqai include the performance enhancements, like the cornering system, the Active Ride Control, Active Trace Control, Active Engine Brake, adjustable steering mode, Sport setting, NissanConnect, self-parking system, top-view monitor, LED headlights with automated high beam and more.
As far as the engine lineup goes, this includes a 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol burner, with 106 kW and 200 Nm of torque. This can be connected to a 6-speed manual or a CVT, depending on the version chosen. It also has a 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbo unit, with 96 kW and 320 Nm of torque, connected exclusively to the CVT. The new Nissan Qashqai (pronounced Kash-kai) is replacing the Dualis and it will be hitting the country in July.
