A brand new Porsche 911 Carrera has recently ended up into a lake in China after its driver pushed the throttle too hard and lost control of the wheel.
Exotic supercars combined with not enough driving experience will always lead to some embarrassing situations which will affect both your ego and your wallet. The newest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from Jinan, China, where a Porsche 911, from the new generation, has definitely seen better days. According to the guys at Wrecked Exotics, the driver of the German sports car lost control of the wheel and fell into the lake with his precious ride. Happily he was successfully rescued.
The new generation of the Porsche 911, or the 991 as it is also being known, has been officially unveiled a couple of years ago. The Carrera, which is pictured right above, is taking its power from a 3.4 liter straight six-cylinder engine, which is producing a total output of 350 HP (257 kW), while the more powerful Carrera S has a 3.8 liter unit under its hood, generating 400 HP (294 kW). The new Porsche 911 is riding on an entirely new platform, which is the third one since the original 911 was introduced.
