Our spy photographers have managed to capture the all-new Renault Espace on camera, for the first time, while the model was being tested in cold weather conditions.
The French based automaker Renault is currently working on several brand new models, an in between creating a new Twingo, a hotter version of the Clio RS, which is believed to be the Gordini, and several other vehicles, the company is also working on an all-new Espace. The 2015 Renault Espace seems to have bold design, which has been probably inspired from the Initiale Paris and R-Space concept cars, but the company wants to get rid of the box shape and so the model will get a sporty profile and a raked windscreen.
The new generation of the Renault Espace will be riding on the CFM1 modular platform, which will also underpin some other vehicles, like the future Megane. Weight will be significantly reduced, compared to the outgoing version, and the engine lineup will be made from four-cylinder petrol and diesel turbocharged units. The 2015 Renault Espace is believed to be officially presented to the public during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this fall. Additional details are limited for the moment and will probably be announced during the French automotive event.
