The new generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been recently launched in India where the luxurious vehicle is now available for order from Rs 1.57 crore.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class has recently expanded its market availability as the model in question has been introduced to India. The cheapest S500 petrol version will become available to its future customers from Rs 1.57 crore. The goodies list includes massaging, heated and cooled seats, Burmester 24-speaker audio system, night vision assist, adaptive cruise control, WiFi connectivity, full LED headlights, four-zone climate control, air suspension, panoramic sunroof and much more, which should make the vehicle the number one choice when it comes to luxury.
According to the car manufacturer, the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class generation will only become available in India in the long wheelbase version so the legroom in the rear seats is quite impressive. Power to the model will be provided by the 4,663 cc V8 petrol burner, which is producing a total output of 453 BHP. The unit will be mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. A locally assembled version, powered by a diesel engine, the S 350 CDI, will become available later on this year. Prices for this model will be announced close to its launch.
