The new generation of the Skoda Superb is the star of a new teaser image, a sketch to be more exact, which has been released recently by the Czech based automaker.
After it has been teased in numerous images just a few days ago and caught on camera by spy photographers several times, the 2016 Skoda Superb is being highlighted once more, this time with the help of a sketch, which has been released by the company. The image posted above is confirming the fact that this will be influenced, in terms of design, by the VisionC Concept and it will be coming with the LED daytime running lights, with sweptback headlights, with a muscular hood and a prominent front grille.
The 2016 Skoda Superb will be growing in size and it will be riding on a stretched version of the MQB platform, which has been also used on the new generation of the Volkswagen Passat. Thanks to this, the model will be lighter than the current generation. As far as the engine lineup goes, the 1.4 liter petrol with 125 HP (92 kW) will be offered for the entry-level, while the 1.8 TSI with 260 HP (191 kW), the 1.6 liter and 2.0 liter diesels with 120 HP (88 kW) and 190 HP) will be offered too.
