Smart is planning to introduce the new generation of the ForTwo next month, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in a concept form.
Daimler is said to be about one year behind schedule with developing the new Smart ForTwo generation and rumors are saying that the company will make a first step into unveiling the model buy bringing a concept car, which will serve as a preview for what’s to come, next month, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The model in question will preview the third generation of the ForTwo and it won’t be the only concept signed by Smart, which will be unveiled at the German automotive event.
A new concept car will also be brought by the carmaker to the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, which is said to preview the new ForFour. Smart is also planning to produce a small crossover which is said to target the MINI Countryman, but this is also expected to come with a rear engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Additional details on the new generations of the Smart ForTwo and ForFour, or on the new crossover, are limited for the moment and will probably be announced during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
