The first renderings of the new generation Peugeot 308, in its 3-door body style, have recently hit the web and they are providing us with a first look into the model.
After it was officially unveiled just a day before writing this article, the new generation of the Peugeot 308 is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some renderings, which are showing the model in its three-door body style. The new 308 is riding on the EMP2 platform, made by PSA, which will be used by Peugeot and Citroen on future C- and D-segment cars. The model is 4.25 meters long and 1.46 meters tall, being shorter and lower than the previous model, but having more room in the cabin.
The 2014 Peugeot 308 has a heads-up instrument, a compact steering wheel, a 9.7-inch touch screen, new dashboard with less buttons and high quality materials. The new generation of the Peugeot 308 has improved CO2 emissions which can be as low as 85 g/km on most economical variants. The model will be produced at the Sochaux facility, in France, and it will make its public debut during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The 2014 Peugeot 308 will hit the market in Europe by the end of 2013 and it will also arrive in the UK in early 2014.
