Volkswagen has announced the introduction of the new generation of the Passat in the United Kingdom, where the model in question will go on sale from 22,215 GBP, for the base entry-level variant.
According to the car manufacturer, a total of five trim levels of the eighth generation VW Passat will become available to its future customers, the S, priced from 22,215 GBP, the SE, costing 23,310 GBP, the SE Business, available at 24,010 GBP, the GT, coming in at 25,305 GBP And the top of the line R-Line which will set you back for 27,425 GBP.
Standard equipment found on the 2015 VW Passat includes the adaptive cruise control, the post collision braking system with front assist, the pre-crash braking system and so on. The range-topper R-Line can offer the three-zone climate control, the heated seats or the 18-inch alloy wheels, amongst others.
In the United Kingdom, the Volkswagen Passat will only be offered with diesel engines and the range will include the 120 HP (88 kW) 1.6 liter, the 150 HP (110 kW) and 190 HP (140 kW) 2.0 liter, the bi-turbo 2.0 liter 240 HP, connected to a DSG transmission and to the 4MOTION all-wheel drive. Next month, the 1.4 liter TSI petrol powered plug-in hybrid GTE will become available for order too.
