An updated version of the GTA Spano has been recently presented to the public for the first time during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Following a few teaser over the past weeks, GTA has finally pulled the wraps off the new Spano, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere. The GTA Spano weighs 1,350 kg (2,976 lbs) and it’s coming with a carbon fiber body, with a double wishbone suspension on both axles, with multi-self-adjusting shock absorbers, AP Racing carbon-ceramic brake system with 380 mm six-piston calipers ventilated brake discs, titanium honeycomb for the monocoque, 19-inch and 20-inch alloy wheels, front to rear and more.
The GTA Spano is powered by an 8.4 liter supercharged V10 engine, which is producing an impressive 900 HP (662 kW) and it has an electronically limited torque of 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft), mated to a seven-speed automatically sequential transmission with paddle shifters or a seven-speed manual sequential. This is enough to allow the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). Only 99 units of the 2013 GTA Spano will be produced.
