The brand new Honda Civic Type R has been caught on camera with no camouflage on its body while being tested out in Southern Europe.
Hot hatch enthusiasts have one more reason to be joyful after the introduction of the new Megane 275 R Trophy, the new Nurburgring king for production front-wheel drive cars and the upgrade package aimed towards the Leon Cupra 280, the development of the new Honda Civic Type R. The model in question has been caught on camera by our spy photographers, while it was being tested out in Southern Europe, and we can see that it has no camouflage on its body.
This isn’t the first time when the new Honda Civic Type R is being spied as some prototypes have been caught on the Nurburgring this spring, where it was being tested alongside other hot hatches, such as the A45 AMG, the Golf R or the Megane RS. As we were expecting, the model in question has an aggressive body kit, new front and rear bumpers, a prominent rear wing, aerodynamic side skirts, a rear diffuser and a four tailpipe exhaust system. Let’s not forget the golden alloy wheels too. Power is expected to be provided by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol burner, which should produce approximately 300 HP or even more.
