The upcoming Jaguar XFR-S is the subject of a couple of renderings which are showing us how the model may look like, once it will hit the market.
There has been only a day since the 2016 Jaguar XF was unveiled over the web and now the model in question is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a couple of renderings, which are showing it in an XFR-S version. The photos have been signed by Virtuel-Car and they are showing the vehicle with an aggressive body kit, a large rear wing, new wheels and several other tweaks which are reminding us of its predecessor. The most important part of the model will be found under its hood where a V8 is expected to rest, producing almost 600 HP and making the XFR-S a true M5 rival.
The 2016 Jaguar XF is 7 mm shorter and 3 mm lower than its predecessor, riding on a 51 mm longer wheelbase. It has been constructed using aluminum and it shed up to 190 kg from its total weight. The model has a 50:50 weight distribution, standard advanced passive damper technology, Integral Link suspension system, double wishbone and the Adaptive Dynamic system, coming as an option. The engine lineup includes the 163 HP (120 kW) & 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque and 180 HP (132 kW) & 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) 2.0 liter Ingenium diesel, along with the 300 HP (220 kW & 700 Nm (517 lb-ft) 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 and the 380 HP (279 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque 3.0L supercharged V6.
