The brand new Jeep Cherokee has been recently launched in Australia, where the model in question is now available for order from 33,500 USD.
Customers looking for a new ride in Australia will now be able to add the new Jeep Cherokee to their list. The model in question will be offered in four grades, the Sport, the Longitude, the Limited and the Trailhawk and it will come with a choice of FWD, AWD or 4WD with low range, connected to a 9-speed automatic transmission, signed by ZF, which is carrying over the power from the three different engines, which include petrol and diesel burners.
The cheapest version, the Cherokee Sport, has a 2.4L Tiger Shark Multi Air II 4-cylinder petrol engine, rated at 130 kW and 229 Nm of torque. The Longitude, which costs 39,000 AUD, is getting a 3.2L 200 kW and 316 Nm of torque under its hood. Next comes the Cherokee Limited, with its 44,000 AUD price and the 3.2L six-cylinder engine under its hood, generating 125 kW and 350 Nm of torque, while the 47,500 Trailhawk is coming exclusively with the 6-cylinder engine. The 2015 Jeep Cherokee is already available in showrooms.
