The South Korean based automaker Kia has recently revealed the all-new Carens MPV ahead of the model’s debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show on the 27th of September.
Even if the car manufacturer has recently pulled the wraps off the new generation of the Kia Carens, stuff the company didn’t release a lot of details on it but according to the guys at autocar.co.uk, salve the model will replace both the outgoing version of the Carens as well as the larger Sedona, buy which left the production line in 2011.
“This marks a dramatic shift forward for our MVP contender and brings the model in line with Kia’s distinctive current design direction, said Hyoung-Keun Lee, the Kia CEO.
The new generation of the Kia Carens will be offered in two versions, with five seats and with seven seats, but according to the source mentioned above, the UK model will only get the latter. The 2013 Kia Carens is based on the same platform as the new Kia Cee’d and it’s also expected to share the same engine lineup with the hatchback. Additional details on the new Kia Carens generation are limited and will be announced at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
