The very first official image with the brand new Kia Cee’d GT has recently hit the web ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show next month.
After we have seen its three-door brother, the Pro Cee’d GT, just a couple of weeks ago, time has come for the five-door version of the South Korean hot hatch to make its way into our news, with the help of what seems to be an official image. The masculine body kit found on the three-door Pro Cee’d GT is also adopted by the five-door version, the Cee’d GT, along with the red brake calipers, the LED daytime running lights, the 18-inch alloy wheels or the Recaro sport seats.
No details on the brand new Kia Cee’d GT have been announced yet by the South Korean based automaker but the model is expected to get a 1.6 liter GDI turbo engine under its hood, which should produce a total output of 201 HP (150 kW) and 265 Nm of torque (195 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission which is allowing the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.9 seconds. The model will go on sale after mid-2013. Additional details on it remain unknown for the moment.
