The South Korean based automaker Kia has recently announced its plans to introduce the all-new Cerato to Australia, where the model will become available for order later on this year.
According to the car manufacturer, the new Kia Cerato’s entry-level price is expected to remain under 20, 000 AUD. The model will arrive in the country’s showrooms in the second half of April in sedan form, and the hatchback will arrive in July, after it will make its public debut during the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. The new Kia Cerato will get the same engine for the entry-level version, the 2.0 liter four-cylinder, generating 115 kW and 194 Nm of torque.
If this isn’t enough for you, Kia will also add a higher grade, the 2.0 liter petrol, generating 129 kW and 209 Nm of torque. The two engines will be mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. Prices for the cheapest new Kia Cerato in Australia will be set from under 20,000 AUD. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its launch.
