Kia has released a teaser image with an upcoming concept car which will be officially presented to the public in February, during the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, in a world premiere.
The South Korean based automaker Kia is getting ready to officially pull the wraps off another one-off vehicle, which has been recently teased out for the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, opening its gates for the public on the 12th of February. As you can notice from the image posted above, the model in question basically looks to be a simple Soul, but take a closer look and you will start noticing the main differences.
“This bold off-roader was conceived by Kia’s California design studio and built for city dwellers seeking the ultimate urban escape. Intended to enable a wide array of outdoor activities from skiing and snowboarding, to camping, hiking and mountain biking, this rugged runabout captures the essence of adventuring at higher elevations with the promise of surefootedness in the wild”, said the carmaker in the official press release.
The brand new Kia concept car pictured above is coming with plastic body cladding, with skid plates and with the new alloy wheel design, which should be enough to help the model stand out from a crowd, but the company has also added a so-called “advanced and capable electric all-wheel drive”. Sadly this is all we’ve got on the one-off vehicle at this time so we will have to wait for the Chicago automotive event to officially open its gates in order to find out more.
